A 3,3-magnitude earthquake shook Bulgaria's capital Sofia at 6:25 a.m. on Saturday, the Geophysics Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences announced.

According to the National Civilian Protection Service, the epicenter was 6 km southeast of Sofia's downtown.

The earthquake was felt by people on the upper floors of high buildings in Sofia's southern districts. No casualties or damages are reported.
