The Bulgarian team of Cosmopolitan Magazine has organized competitions for running on high heels for the second year in a row, held simultaneously in the capital Sofia and the seaside city of Varna on Saturday evening.

Young ladies and two bold boys took part in the spectacular race, won by the 21-year-old student Nadya Borissova from Varna, who managed to run the distance of 40 meters for the record 5,96 seconds.

That way she deserved the big prize of BGN 3,000.

The first runner-up in the competition became Dimana Stefanova, 21, from Sofia.

The participants had to compete on at least 8-centimeter high heels.

The show hosts Simeon Kolev and Bogdana Trifonova were in touch all the time to announce the winners in the two cities before the final sprint.

All girls, who managed to top the ranking, were awarded a subscription to Cosmopolitan Magazine for one year.
