Bulgarians eco-activists from the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) organization are going to stage a naked protest before the UK Embassy in Sofia on Monday over the use of bearskin caps by the British Royal Guards.

The PETA members protest against the killing of black bears in Canada in order to use their fur for the making of the guards' caps. One black bear has to be killed for every cap produced.

According to an opinion poll performed by PETA Europe, 80% of the British oppose using the money from their taxes for the hunting of black bears in Canada, and for the production of the fur hats of the Royal Guard.
