Five people died as 24 heavy car crashes were reported overnight across Bulgaria, according to the data of the country's Interior Ministry.
Other 24 people were injured in the hits, as two of them are in critical condition.
In the capital city of Sofia, the number of traffic accidents during the same period was 207, including five major car crashes, which left six injured.
Since the beginning of July, 74 people have died on Bulgarian roads.
