3 More Dead Added Overnight to Bulgaria Gloomy Road Statistics

26 serious traffic accidents have occurred in Bulgaria over the last 24 hours claiming the lives of 3 people and sending 38 to the hospitals with injuries, according to the Interior Ministry's press-center.

4 of the injured are in critical condition.

5 serious accidents and 55 fender-benders have been registered in the capital Sofia over the last 24 hours. 8 people have been injured, but there have been no fatalities.

Since the beginning of July 44 people total have died ion the Bulgarian roads while 308 have been injured while 21 of them remain in critical condition. The number of traffic accidents in July has reached 276.

Since the beginning of the year there have been a total of 3925 traffic accidents in Bulgaria claiming the lives of 500 Bulgarians.
