A total of ten children, who attend one and the same kindergarten, were hospitalized Monday in the regional hospital in Bulgaria's town of Harmanli after being infected with salmonellosis.

The condition of all the little patients is stable, doctors reported.

Experts from the Regional Public Health Protection Inspectorate announced they have taken a sample from the food the youngsters consumed to test it.

"The results of the first lab analyses will be ready later in the day," Doctor Delcho Yanev said.

"The environment in the kindergarten's kitchen will also be tested," he added.
