Bulgaria's Defence Minister Nikolay Tsonev declared Monday that the situation after Thursday's explosion in a military facility in Sofia's district of Chelopechene is back to normal.
There is no danger of new explosions, Tsonev said at an extraordinary press conference early in the morning.
I hope that the incident in Chelopechene is not a human mistake, the minister added.
On Sunday the area of the blast was flooded in order for the soil to cool and prevent new detonations.
On Thursday, the Bulgarian capital was shaken by powerful gunpowder explosions, which were heard and felt in the whole city after the Chelopechene military facility, where tons of ammo and TNT were stored, burst into flames.
