Bulgaria's Ministry of Environment and Waters announced that the quality of the air in Sofia and the Chelopechene Quarter had not worsened as a result of Thursday's massive explosions at the munitions storage facilities there.
The four permanent air test stations in Sofia, and the one portable in the Chelopechene Quarter have not detected any concentration of pollutants above the normal values.
The concentration of dust particles in the air is slightly higher than the required values but does not exceed the usual pollution caused by the intensive car traffic in the Bulgarian capital.
