The Mayor of Sofia's Chepintsi Quarter Sonya Stoyanova announced Friday that a total of 15 teams were already inspecting the damages from Thursday's explosions at the military storehouse in the nearby Chelopechene Quarter.

The first four inspection committee made by the local authorities at Novi Iskar Municipality started investigating the detonations as early as 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

The first trucks with glasses to repair the broken windows had already been unloaded at Chelopechene.

Emergency teams of the Defense Ministry are also in the quarter helping with the clearing of the debris.

All inspection teams are expected to be done with their work of studying the damages by nightfall on Friday. After that, their reports will be submitted to the Civil Defense Service, who will estimate the exact amount of the damages.
