Week explosions are still continuing in Chelopechene, according to visitors of the DarikNews website.

Explosions were also supposedly heard on Botevgradsko Shose, in the suburbs of Sofia with witness' accounts of seeing patrol cars driving in the direction of the blasts. Civil Defense confirmed before Darik radio that the explosions had continued all through the night, however, they have added that Sofia residents might be hearing thunder Friday afternoon since the weather forecast predicts rain.

The last officially registered blast in Chelopechene is from 5:40 am Friday according to Civil Defense - a statement refuting Defense Minister Tsonev's claims that the explosions have ceased at 7:50 pm Thursday.

Civil Defense warns that the munitions stored in Chelopechene were going to continue to explode until everything there detonates. They confirmed that their employees have not yet begun cleaning the area.

"We do not have any orders for such cleaning, anyone can say whatever they want, however, unless it is safe to do so, we are not cleaning," Civil Defense stated.
