CEZ provider has ceased the electricity supply in the villages located near the military facilities in Sofia's district of Chelopechene, shaken by a powerful explosion early on Thursday.

The measure was taken at the request of the National Service "Fire Safety and Population Protection".

Chelopechene and certain areas of the villages of Yana, Kremikovtsi and Botunec already have no electricity supply. It will be stopped also in Chepintsi and Lokorsko within the next few hours.

There are no damages reported on CEZ facilities, the company announced.
