Representatives of the MOBA Ltd firm, which is in charge of guarding the munitions storage facilities in Sofia's Chelopechene Quarter, have declined to comment on the causes of the massive explosions, which shook the Bulgarian capital Thursday morning, and are still continuing.

MOBA officials said they would not make any statements until there was more information on how exactly the detonations started.

The company manager Radoslav Hristov is currently at the site of the explosions in Chelopechene, the private Darik Radio reported.

The MOBA Ltd firm is registered in Sofia. It has been certified to provide armed or unarmed guarding for persons, property, events, and shipments.

None of the four officiers on duty at the site at the time of the detonations had been killed or injured as they left the spot immediately after hearing the first explosions.
