There is no danger of chemical or radioactive pollution after the huge explosion that rocked a military facility near Sofia Thursday morning.

Large quantities of conventional ammunition are stored in the facility near the Sofia district of Chelopechene but there are no toxic chemicals or radioactive substances stored there, former Chief of the General Staff of the Bulgarian Army and present head of the President's Cabinet General Nikola Kolev said.

However, a new massive explosion at the military storehouse is still possible as more than 15 tons of TNT and other explosives are still there.
