Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov is to open Wednesday the new boulevard "Andrey Saharov" in Bulgaria's capital after two years of construction.
The facility is an extension of the central Dragan Tsankov Blvd. and passes through the neighborhoods of Musagenitsa and Mladost.
More than 13,000 square meters of sidewalks, five sets of traffic lights, 1,800 running meters of collectors and drains as well as about 2,000 running meters of lighting have been built along the street.
The boulevard has four lanes as its construction value is set at BGN 6,5 M.
