An advertisement titled "Why You Should Never buy a Shirt Tailored by a Bulgarian" won the Silver Lion Award in the "Press" category at the international advertisement festival Cannes Lions, held several days ago.

The ad of the Australian shirt making company Herringbone says that Bulgarians are known for having fingers fat as sausages and must not be trusted to make clothing purchases as announced by lifestyle.bg.

The ad shows a picture of three dirty and rough looking young men accompanied by a sarcastic comment regarding "Bulgarian haute-couture".

The ad has been created by the Australian company M&C Saatchi and Olivier Devaris.

Cannes Lions is the most prestigious advertisement festival. It has been held for the 55th time with 80 countries participating with over 25 000 advertisements.
