Satellite pictures show huge oil spill spots floating in the Black Sea, just 30 kilometres away from Bulgaria's coastal area.

This is the second warning of oil spills near Bulgaria published by Russian Internet site "Kosmicheskii Monitoring" (Satellite Monitoring), which showed pictures of gigantic oil spots near Varna in the end of May.

Bulgaria's Maritime Administration said they are currently checking the signal although the system for satellite monitoring Clean Sea Net they are using have not alarmed of pollution.

According to authorities, the checks over the information from May had not "fully confirmed" that there was pollution.
