After the meeting with President Peter Stoyanov Simeon II did not reveal whether he would become the next Prime Minister. According to Simeon they discussed the forthcoming visit of the head of state in Saltsburg and his meeting with the chief secretary of NATO George Robertson. In this respect Stoyanov and Simeon discussed the foreign policy, which Bulgaria will continue to follow in respect of NATO. Simeon refused to reveal whether he discussed with the President the forming of the next government. According to him the headline of the Spanish newspaper `El Mundo` that he decided to become a Prime Minister is a little bit far-fetched. He assured the Bulgarian journalists that if there is such news they will be the first to know. He specified that he had not announced whether he would back up Peter Stoyanov for a second presidency mandate.
