A total of EUR 4 M will be allocated for the development of fishery at the southern part of Bulgaria's Black Sea coast by the EU, the EC representative Antonio Gutierrez announced Monday.
The statement was made during a meeting between Gutierrez and Bulgarian fishermen, held in the seaside town of Sozopol.
The money will be granted on the Fisheries and Aquacultures Operative Program after the fishermen unite in associations and prepare some projects for absorbing the financial help.
The local municipalities will be partners in the projects' development and are to control the money spending.
