Two public transport trams clashed Tuesday night on the Dondukov Blvd in downtown Sofia.
The incident took place at the crossroads next to the First English Language High School.
No one was injured in the clash but the incident caused a huge traffic jam. The emergency teams managed to pull out one of the trams almost immediately.
According to witnesses, one of the trams hit from behind the tram in front of it because a car driving along the rails ahead of the first vehicle caused it slow down. The driver of the second tram, however, did not manage to stop on time.
