Three passengers died as 24 heavy car crashes were reported overnight across Bulgaria, according to the data of the country's Interior Ministry.
Other 28 people were injured in the hits, as three of them are in critical condition.
In the capital city of Sofia, the number of traffic accidents during the same period was 171, including six major car crashes, which left four injured.
Since the beginning of 2008, a total of 333 people lost their lives in car crashes across Bulgaria.
