The European Federation of Salaried Doctors adopted a resolution in support of Bulgarian medics' pay rise demands at a regular sitting in Prague, Bulgaria's Medical Association said Sunday.
The document emphasizes on the European experts' concern over the fact that Bulgaria allocates only 4,2 per cent of its GDP for health care sphere.
"These factors make quality healthcare services rendering very difficult and soon the situation could go out of control," the resolution reads.
The federation called on Bulgarian government to consider the seriousness of the existing problems and to fulfill its duty to the patients and society as a whole.
