A group of motormen from European countries donated Tuesday EUR 10 000 to the "Petko Slaveykov" Orphanage in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

The bikers collected the sum during their charity passage around Europe named "On Two Wheels through Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, and Macedonia".

The Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov received the donation check on behalf of the orphanage.

The Director of the Municipal Social Activities Directorate Minka Vladimirova explained that the sum donated by the bikers would be used for repairing the rooms in the orphanage, and that the whole building would be renovated with aid by another donor, and by the Sofia Municipality.

Later on Tuesday, the Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov opened the new building of the 127th Kindergarten in Sofia "Zlatnoto pate" ("The Golden Duck") in the Strelbishte Quarter, in which Sofia Municipality invested BGN 850 000.
