Military parade rehearsal ahead of March 6, the Day of Valour, would close some of the streets downtown Sofia, authorities reported.
Vehicles will not be allowed Sunday on St. Alexander Nevski square, Moskovska street, Tsar Osvoboditel boulevard, as well as sections of boulevards Vassil Levski and Todor Alexandrov.
Jet fighters and combat helicopters of the Bulgarian Army have already started their drills in the sky above Sofia in preparation for the parade.
A total of 15 fighters and helicopters will take part in the air show, including a MiG 29 fighter, Pilatus Planes and Su-25 planes, Mi-17, Mi-24, and Cougar helicopters.
Forty-five armoured vehicles will also participate at the parade downtown Sofia, including T-72 tanks, BMP-1 and BMP-23 armoured carriers, and newest US made M1117 armoured security vehicles.
