Bulgaria's Traffic Police Department called on the people, who have decided to travel in the next six free days, not to drive in the main roads and motorways across the country so that severe jams could be avoided.

Clogging is expected on Hemus highway as well as on the first-class road E-79 in the section between Dupnitsa, Dragichevo, Vladaya and Knyazhevo.

The authorities recommended to those, who plan to travel across central Bulgaria to use Burgas - Sofia road and not only Trakiya motorway.

The passengers, going through south-eastern part of the country could divert, passing on Samokov road.

The traffic in the capital city of Sofia is getting lighter as most of its residents are to spend the holiday in the period May 1-6 in the country.
