A unique photo exhibition of the world famous fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld will be on display in Sofia for only seven hours on Thursday.

The exhibition, which includes black-and-white pictures of 60 of the greatest Hollywood stars, is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Cannes Film Fest.

The photos, some of them 1,80-meter-high, arrived in Bulgaria from Paris and are to head for Moscow.

Karl Lagerfeld is widely recognized as one of the most influential designers of the late 20th century. He has collaborated with a variety of different fashion labels, most notably Chanel but also ChloГ© and Fendi. Furthermore, he owns several labels, which he launched in the early 1980s, in various industries including perfume and clothing. He has also played a role in equipping leading artists.

Lagerfeld took up photography in 1987 as his works include portrait, landscape and nude pictures.
