The Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov, who is also the informal leader of Bulgaria's GERB party, left Monday for Dublin, Ireland, where he is going to participate at a special meeting of European People's Party (EPP).
The meeting will be attended by the leaders of EPP member parties. The decision for the special meeting in Dublin was made during the EPP Summit in March.
After the Dublin forum, Borisov is going to fly to Brussels, where he is going to have working meetings with other EPP representatives.
The Bulgarian center-right GERB party was officially admitted as a member of the EPP on February 7, 2008.
