Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev is to meet Monday with the president of the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO), Drago Kos, to discuss Bulgaria's fight against corruption and measures for prevention.

Members of the Ministry Council, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Committee for Prevention and Fight of Corruption, as well as ambassadors of EU member states will take part in the discussions.

The forum in Sofia is organized under a PHARE project for raising the capacity of the anti-corruption committee, authorities reported.

GRECO was established in 1999 by the Council of Europe to monitor states' compliance with the organisation's anti-corruption standards through a process of mutual evaluation and peer pressure
