Following the practice not to comment on interior problems of the member countries, the European Commission avoided to make any statements, concerning the resignation of Bulgaria's Interior Minister, spokesman Marc Gray said Sunday.
"EC accepts the news just as a piece of information as that is a problem of the Bulgarian cabinet," he explained.
Gray assured the body will continue supporting Bulgaria in its efforts to fight corruption and organized crime.
"EC will also follow closely the reforms to be made in the country," the spokesman ended.
