223 Passengers Die on Bulgarian Roads since Beginning of 2008

A total of 223 people lost their lives in 1739 hellish car crashed that occurred on roads across Bulgaria since the beginning of 2008, according to the data of the country's Interior Ministry.

The number of the passengers, who suffered serious injuries in the hits during the same period, is 2202.

More than 130 accidents killed 19 people only in the first eight days of April.

The victims claimed by the road carnage during the past 24 hours are two, as other 30 Bulgarians have been hurt.

In the capital city of Sofia, the number of the overnight traffic accidents was 150, including ten major car crashes, which left two dead and 12 injured.
