Bulgarian, Slovak Ships Crash in Danube River

A Bulgarian and Slovak ships have crashed in the waters of the Danube River near Russe port, Transport Ministry reported Tuesday.

The two-barge Bulgarian vessel, transporting containers and trucks hit against the Slovakian one, loaded with metals and coke.

None of the crewmembers was injured but there have been caused serious damages to both ships.

Ukrainian experts arrived on the spot to help the Bulgarian authorities in establishing the damages.

The reasons for the accident are still under investigation.
