The call girl that brought the downfall of the former governor of the State of New York is the 22-year old Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the New York Times reported.
The girl nicknamed Kristen, for whose company Spitzer paid more than USD 4000 on February 13 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, will become a witness in the case against four persons charged with operating the prostitution ring Emperor's Club VIP.
The New York Times published part of an interview with "Kristen", and information and pictures based on Dupre's profile in myspace.com, from which it becomes clear that she comes from a problematic family, that she has taken drugs, and has experienced abuse.
Dupre's main passion is music, and she allegedly became prostitute after trying to make it in the music clubs in New York. According to the NY Times she was booked for about USD 1000 an hour.
