Bulgaria's Culture Minister Stefan Danailov and the Russian actor and director Nikita Mihalkov received Saturday Golden Muse awards over strengthening the cultural relations between their two countries.
The Bulgarian official got a bronze statuette and Russia's cinema legend was handed the special award at a solemn ceremony, held for 14th year in a row.
Prizes received also the Bulgarian actress Zhorzheta Chakarova and the filmmaker Krikor Azaryan.
Earlier in the day, the Russian star talked to his numerous Bulgarian fans at a meeting that took place in the National Palace of Culture in the capital city.
Nikita Mihalkov arrived in Bulgaria on Friday to attend the show of his movie "12", which is included in the program of this year's Sofia Film Fest.
