Letter from Russia`s president Vladimir Putin to Simeon II was brought by Chief Prosecutor Nikola Filchev. Yesterday, at 10.50 a.m. he returned from Moscow where he had been invited by the Prosecutor General of Russia Vladimir Ustinov. Do not expect any news, Filchev said on his arrival, adding: `I have brought a letter from President of Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to Simeon II`. The prosecutor No 1 declared he was unaware of the contents. Filchev did not have a meeting with Putin. The letter had been given to him sealed by Ustinov with the request to deliver it personally. Filchev did not elaborate on the fact of why the parcel was sent through him. Perhaps this is a sign of respect to the Bulgarian prosecutor`s office, commented the prosecutor. The letter put in a black leather case was brought by a bodyguard to the armored Mercedes of Filchev shortly before the prosecutor left the VIP lounge.
