ABNA TO DISCUSS SITUATION ON BALKANS

In a resolution the members of the Association of Balkan News Agencies confirmed their commitment to the principles of freedom, respect for human rights and solving any kind of conflicts through peaceful means. The heads of the 9 news agencies (NA) in ABNA: BG NA, BG Telegraph Agency, Greek ANA and MPA, Turkish Anatolian NA, TANJUG of Yugoslavia, and MIA of Macedonia, held an extraordinary session to discuss the situation in Southeast Europe, the role of the NAs and other media in the crisis on the Balkans.
