Bulgaria's Cabinet Gives BGN 10,000 to Train Blaze Victims' Relatives

Bulgaria's government decided to give compensations of BGN 10,000 to the relatives of the victims of the recent deadly fire on a train in northern Bulgaria.

The money will be provided from the national budget, as relatives will also receive insurance payouts, Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev reported.

Nine people were charred to death and nine more were injured after two cars of the night train going from Sofia to the northeastern town of Kardam burst into flames minutes after midnight on February 29.
