Bulgaria's Culture Minister Stefan Danailov met potential project competitors applying for financing under a program for cooperation with Norway and a program of the European Economic Area (EEA).

Under a separate program between Sofia and Oslo another EUR 20 M will be granted to Bulgaria for the implementation of different projects, as priority have energy efficiency, stable development, and education projects but also projects for cultural heritage protection.
The financial support for Bulgaria is of great importance for keeping the country's cultural heritage and the Ministry hopes there will be enough projects to absorb the funds, Danailov said at Tuesday's meeting, at which Norwegian ambassador to Sofia, Tove Skarstein was also present.
The minister added that Bulgaria's cultural heritage is a priority in his work and pointed out that BGN 22 M has been invested for its protection during the past three years.
