The Serbian government will form a team of lawyers which is going to file suits in international courts against any country that recognizes Kosovo' independence.
This decision was made at a meeting of the Serbian National Security Council chaired by the President Boris Tadic.
According to Serbian officials, their country is going to file suits against the USA and the other countries recognizing Kosovo in the International Court of Justice in the Hague. If the US does not renounce its decision on the newly proclaimed republic, Serbia is then going to file suits against it in all international courts.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Serbian PM Vojislav Kostunica called upon the US to annul its recognition of Kosovo independence, and to confirm Serbia's sovereignty over the province.
