Bulgaria's Culture Minister Stefan Danailov opened Wednesday the year of the intercultural dialogue in the country.
"The priorities of the EU member states will be orientated to the young people, who are going to develop the initiative in the future," the minister explained.
In its capacity of a national coordinator of the initiative, the Culture Ministry prepared a strategic document that lays down Bulgaria's priorities.
The event to be held during the next year aim at popularizing the intercultural dialogue as a way of improving the cohabitating in the conditions of the complex cultural environment.
Giving more information about the European values will also be among the main purposes of the initiative.
The ministries of education, finance, social policy and foreign affairs will join the campaign as well.
