Two people died as 16 heavy car crashes were reported overnight on Saturday in Bulgaria, according to the data of the country's Interior Ministry.
A total of 19 people were injured in the hits, including one who is in critical condition.
In capital Sofia, the number of traffic accidents during the same period was 132, including six major car crashes, which left seven people injured.
The death toll on Bulgaria's roads so far this month has reached 49, with 707 injured in 557 major crashes.
For the year, the casualties of Bulgaria's war on wheels have reached 1001 people, with 9746 injured in 7959 serious crashes.
