The death toll from Tuesday's hellish chain crash in Southwestern Bulgaria may rise as two of the casualties were reported to be in critical condition.
Three passengers were killed and another 14 injured in a chain crash between a bus, a minibus and several cars near Bulgaria's town of Simitli late on Tuesday.
Two of the victims died on spot and the third one passed away on his way to a local hospital.
Among the casualties is a one-year old child, whose father was killed in the crash. His mother suffered brain concussion.
The accident occurred after the bus, which was travelling from the capital city of Sofia to Sandanski, attempted a rash overtake only to bump into three cars and a minibus before toppling over.
