Two people died as 29 heavy car crashes were reported overnight in Bulgaria, according to the data of the country's Interior Ministry.

A total of 31 people were injured in the hits, including four who are in critical condition.

In capital Sofia, the number of traffic accidents during the same period was 222, including nine major car crashes, which left nine people injured.

Since the start of the year, 965 people died and 9312 were injured in car crashes in Bulgaria.
