A total of 10 children, who swallowed high blood pressure medications in their kindergarden in Sofia, are to be discharged from hospital, doctors said on Friday.

The other four kids involved have left Pirogov Emergency Institute late on Thursday.

Seven children were hospitalized with symptoms of poisoning on Wednesday and seven more were brought later to the Pirogov hospital by their parents.

Blood test showed they had all swallowed pills for high blood pressure.

All 14 children, who are around the age of five, go to a kindergarden in the Sofia district of Lozenets, where they probably found the medications.

Investigation has been launched and police interrogated the head of the kindergarden.
