Girl Jumps off Bridge in Bulgaria, Dies

A fourteen-year-old girl put an end to her life after jumping off a bridge in the Black Sea town of Varna.

Witnesses of the tragic fall, which occurred at about 10 am on Thursday, found the girl's notebook left on the bridge rail guard.

The girl's body was retrieved by fishermen and policemen. An autopsy is due on Friday.

The Asparuhov Bridge, well known by Bulgarian bungee-jumping thrill seekers, has lately gained the infamous reputation of a suicide spot.
