Five people died as 19 heavy car crashes were reported overnight in Bulgaria, according to the data of the country's Interior Ministry.

A total of 17 people were injured in the hits.

In capital Sofia, the number of traffic accidents during the same period was 98, including five major car crashes, which left two dead and three injured.

The monthly death toll has already reached 25 for November, while another 210 were injured in 190 serious car crashes reported by the Interior Ministry.

For the year, the death toll currently stands at 897, with another 8506 injured in 6957 car crashes.
