R&B princess Rihanna is to stage a free concert at Alexander Batenberg Square in Sofia on November 30 as part of her European tour.

About 300 guards are to strength the security measures during the vent as well as the whole stay of the singer in Bulgaria.

Rihanna will stay at Sofia's Hilton Hotel, organizers from Bulgaria's third mobile operator Vivatel announced.

Rihanna received her big break at the age of 15 when one of her friends introduced her to music producer Evan Rogers, who was vacationing in singer's home Barbados.

Rogers, along with his partner, Carl Sturken, helped Rihanna record material in the US, which was sent to various recording companies. One copy of Rihanna's work was sent to Jay-Z, who eventually signed her to Def Jam Records.

At present, the singer is working with great stars such as Justin Timnberlake and the hit producer Timbaland.

R&B star cites Alicia Keys, BeyoncГ© Knowles and her Caribbean background as major musical influences.

The R&B star shared she has love relationship with the actor Josh Hartnett, who is likely to accompany Rihanna during her visit to Sofia, rumours say.

Hartnett has began his previous relationship with he Hollywood star Scarlett Johanson when the two were shooting their movie "The Black Dahlia" in Bulgaria.
