A 38-year-old woman died on spot after the car she was driving bumped against a bus on the road between Bulgaria's seaside cities of Burgas and Pomorie on Wednesday.
The victim was the wife of the councillor Todor Stamboliev from Burgas municipality.
The bus, involved in the crash, had Sofia licence plates and was driven by a man from the village of Driyanova glava. There were no passengers were on board of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
No information on the bus driver's condition has been revealed yet.
The reasons for the accident are still under investigation.
