The 13th draw of Bulgaria's state lottery proved lucky for the holder of a ticket worth just BGN 2, who won BGN 116,400, the lottery said on Friday.
The identity of the winner was not disclosed, as it is always kept secret, but he or she can claim their winnings by showing up with the lucky winning ticket at the State Lottery headquarters.
Winners do not have to pay any taxes on lottery winnings, because these are tax-exempt. The large jackpot had been piling up for a little over a month, which, according to betting experts, is a very short period.
The lucky numbers of the 13 draw were 7, 13, 18, 20, 24, and 25.
This year's lottery proceeds have been record high so far, officials said, without disclosing the exact figures.
