Ferry, Fishing Vessel Crash off Greece's Chalkidiki Peninsula

A ferry with 143 passengers onboard and a fishing vessel have crashed off the Chalkidiki peninsula in Greece on Friday morning.

There are no reports on any casualties or serious damages of the two vessels.

The ferry was travelling from Lemnos Island and Thessaloniki. In spite of the hit, it reached its final destination.

The local port authorities are still investigating the reasons for the accident.
