BG PRESIDENT SUMMONED URGENT MEETING ON MACEDONIA

President Stoyanov summoned the top brass and the intelligence chief on an urgent meeting to analyse the latest developments in Macedonia, BTA announced. Attending were Defence Minister Noev, Chief of General Staff Gen. Mihov, National Intelligence Service chief Gen. Gyaourov and the chief of the Military Information Department Gen. Angel Katsarov. The President stayed in touch last night with the Defence Minister and the special services chiefs because of the situation in Skopje. At present the situation on the border is quiet and there is no military threat for the security of Bulgaria and its citizens.
