A two-day sitting of the members of the European Tourist Commission is to be held in Bulgaria's capital, starting on Tuesday.
There will be discussed the candidatures of the new potential members as well as the results of implementing the corporative business plan of the organization.
The officials are also to adopt the new plan for the period 2008-2010.
The body was founded in 1948 and since then a total of 39 countries have become members of the organization, Bulgaria among them.
The commission's main objective is popularising Europe as a tourist destination as well as experience exchange and collaboration between the member states.
